It’s been awhile since we all have been to Taiwan and this really transported me back 🫶🏼 If you’re around town and looking for some affordable brunch options, this place is definitely worth a shot. Located in the basement of Cuppage Plaza, here’s what worth ordering:
🫔 Pork floss & Egg Omelette: What we usually know as danbing 蛋饼 or crepe. The outer skin was thin, eggy and wrapped inside was a generous portion of floss. Loved the sweet-savoury combination.
🫓 Scallion pancake: Loved the sweet sauce spread inside. Pancake was crispy too, similar to prata but chinese style.
🍜 Guo Shao Udon: Broth tasted like bonito flakes. Hearty dish with pork belly, meatball and crabstick: But think the noodle one is more popular than the udon.
Breakfast sandwich was comfort food - basicially fluffy eggs and breakfast fam with toast. Though the portion was abit too small to be shared. Wasn’t a fan of the luroufan as it had this strong spice taste we couldn’t figure what it was.
For 5 dishes and a drink each, it amounted to $10/pax for a group of 4. We queued for ~20min on a weekend so do head down early!
