Ala-Carte Jap Buffet | Freshest Sashimi Spread ☺️🍣

Weekday dinner ala-carte buffet ($56.80++) serving a spread of Jap dishes including FREE FLOW SASHIMI, sushi, cooked food such as grilled beef steak and hotpot. Not the cheapest but the quality was there. We were spoilt for choice from the variety and did not manage to try everything. But here’s some of my must-order dishes:

🐟 Mixed Sashimi: This platter came with Salmon, Mekajiki — swordfish, Maguro — tuna, Amaebi — sweet shrimp, Tako — octopus, Hamachi — yellowtail and Tai — seabream. I usually stick to salmon only as the other fish tends to be fishy? But not here because the slices were super fresh. ⁣

🍲 Sukiyaki: The soy-based broth came with sliced beef and pork. There’s add-ons like ramen/udon available too but something that caught our eye was to ADD-ON MOCHI? Which was surprisingly nice and a treat to mochi lovers. ⁣

🐷 Pork Katsu: This katsu was TO DIE FOR — the breadcrumb batter was thin and crisp. The meat juicy, tender with a thin layer of fat around it. One of their nicer fried items alongside the Pumpkin Croquette. ⁣

Other items we had were Unagi Toji (Egg Hotplate), Yakiniku Beef, Beef Fillet, Ebi Tempura Maki, Terikyaki Salmon, Hot Udon, Soba etc. Only downside is that they take quite long to serve our orders. Nonetheless a nice place for a Jap treat for gatherings!
