I’m a huuuuge fan of JB 🫶🏻 and I’ve tried quite a few cafes there so here’s my review 🥰
1. Woodfire Burgers
Insane, generously filled burgers that could rival some famous burger places in SG. One burger ranges from RM15-29 which is crazy considering the size.
2. Nimmies Pastry Cafe
The drinks were really good, but to be honest, can’t really remember much about the food. Haha - ok if you don’t need to queue, but wouldn’t queue for more than 15 minutes for this
3. Founders Cafe
A bit far cos it’s nearer to Mount Austin, but the interior + bagels are really worth the trip down. The black sesame cheesecake features is also sooo delicious
4. Nikko & Yoryo
Japanese style cafe just across Nimmies with an industrial interior. Had tamago sandwiches and this tiramisu style waffle that looked prettier than it tasted cos the waffle was a lil soggy.
5. Meowme Cafe
Near the viral lala hotpot place! Only came here for the drinks cos it’s was quite late, but the highlight was definitely the cuuuutest cats roaming around (you can play w them too!) It is a very calm and aesthetic space
6. Keijimeto
How can I review JB cafes without including keijimeto? Honestly, I feel it’s worth the hype, and I waited <15 mins on a weekend! They have many diff types of matcha combinations and I loved their mint matcha
7. OFFEE
am so sad this strawberry matcha is a seasonal item cos it’s SOOOO GOOOD AAAAA
8. Palates & Bagel
Very near Hiap Joo bakery & opposite OFFEE! Good offering of savory and sweet pastries - what stood out was definitely their chocolate croissant. Super rich and bursting with flavor.
