My first tip is to throw on a jacket in the same color or color family as your uggs. This will take your otherwise casual or leisure wear outfit up a level and also create a more cohesive overall look.

My next big tip actually revolves around the type of pants you style with your uggs. While sweats and leggings look super cute, full length pants especially in a luxe fabric like linen look great with uggs and will definitely dress the look up quite a bit more. I opt for wider fit pants for this to create that more elevated look.

Lastly, textures play an important role in making an outfit work well but especially with uggs since they are suede and fur lined. You don’t want to go crazy with competing textures but choosing something like a waffle knit half zip and ribbed crew socks can balance out the fluffiness of the uggs and tie together the look really well.
