If you’re looking for a way to spice up your classic French manicure for fall and Halloween but keep it subtle, this black French mani is the perfect way to do so. The key here is using a pure black like OPI Lincoln park after dark for the French tip and keeping that French tip not too long. I don’t like going super dramatic with length so I kept this one a medium length and chose a tapered oval shape for the nails.

The base coat I used is OPI bare my soul which is a warm translucent nude and goes really well with the pure black of the French tip. I would definitely choose this or a clear for the base over an opaque color since the black is the star of the show here.

This mani looks super cute styled with both gold and silver jewelry and is the perfect way to bring a little Halloween and autumn spice into your regular french manicure.
