Capsule wardrobe must-haves & how to style them ✨👖

If you’ve been following my posts, you’ll start to realise that a lot of my outfit combinations are repetitive 🔂

I love having these basics in my wardrobe because there’s just soo many ways to style them & getting the most wear of our clothes feels amazing. More value for the clothes you buy, yknw.

1. Heavyweight t-shirt

Don’t underestimate the power of a good quality basic t shirt! Heavyweight meaning something thicker in fabric so it looks expensive when draped over your body.

2. Linen vest

I love waistcoats and have to actively stop myself from buying more. Linen vests are super versatile, since they can be dressed up and down.

3. Longline vest

A longer line waistcoat is useful. They’re the most suitable for going to the office since it doesn’t expose the midriff. I also like that it gives a more formal touch than a cropped vest.

4. Knitted sweater

A knitted sweater is so versatile. It can be worn by itself, draped over the shoulder or over a t shirt. I’ve been loving the relaxed look of a knit over a maxi skirt. I chose to get a striped one because I wanted something textural yet timeless.

5. Oversized linen shirt

Get this in a neutral color so you can pair it with many outfits. With maxi skirt, baggy jeans, shorts, wide leg pants, as an outerwear 🤯 endless possibilities. I’m currently missing a white piece in my wardrobe.

6. Neutral tank top

Absolute must-have for the tropics, and get a good quality one that can last you a long time. Another tip is to get a tank top in a cut that flatters your body type — my personal fave is the high neck line.
