bar experience in taipei! 🍸👍🏻

so in my recent trip to taipei, i decided i wanted to check out some bars and see what the scene was like. 🤩

we stumbled upon AHA Saloon, while googling for where we could go, and found out that they were on the list for World & Asia’s Top 50 Bars several times in the past few years! so we decided to head down one day after our hectic day :-)

the bar is located on an alley at Da’an, just a few stores down from the famous Yong He Soymilk! 😝

when we went in, the vibes were immaculate. the place is darkly lit for a nice ambience and they had really pretty decor~ there was also a second floor to accommodate if the place got crowded! we went on a weekday night and the whole first floor was seated, which was a good crowd 👍🏻

there is a minimum requirement to get 1 drink per pax and so my boyfriend and i ordered the “strongest” n “weakest” drinks according to the bartender 🤣 both drinks were equally as delicious and i love the attention to detail they had for each drink in terms of layering the notes and complimenting the ingredients with each other ✨

overall we spent about an hour+ here as we were tired, but the place was really friendly and welcoming and we would have loved to stay longer into the night 🌙 i highly recommend you come check this place out if you’re interested in a. chill drinking day in taipei! 🇹🇼
