These don’t make you lose weight. However, if you use them effectively it may help. I’m no doctor, but these are the three apps I’ve been using to track my health journey. So far, I’ve lost 10 pounds. These have been helpful in keeping conscious of what I am doing along the way.
Here’s more on each one:
1. Apple Fitness
A friend invited me to share their fitness activity with me via the fitness app. The app is attached to my Apple Watch. This has been a game changer. It has motivated me to get moving everyday. It’s fun to keep track of friends and family that I’ve invited on there and you can even have 7-day competition where you earn badges. The app allows you to start workouts directly from the watch and even tracks your steps during the day.
2. Zero
My husband started intermittent fasting and told me about this one. I added it. It’s a little harder to remember to do. Basically, you start a timer when you’re done eating for the day and it tracks when you’re fast started and stopped.
3. Eat this much
I ran into this app while working with a dietitian. The dietitian was helping me formulate meal plans for weight-loss. I noticed she was using this app, so I downloaded it. It gives you meal plans, grocery list, and a check mark list to track your food based on your goal. If you don’t like what’s there, it gives you alternatives or you can clear and add in what you actually ate. It has helped me keep track of macros to hit my goals.
