iOS saved me from getting hacked 😮‍💨

Today, I got a whatsapp message from someone that’s pretending to be from JnT courier service. I am expecting for some parcels to be delivered within this week, that’s why I entertain the chats.

As seen on the screenshot, he (I assume it’s a guy since the name shown was of a man) asked me to confirm parcel delivery since I was not physically present to received the item. He sent a link or maybe a document, I did click on it twice but its shows nothing and can’t be open. I opened whatsapp on web to check the link send and saw that it was an APK files. All alarms are going off in my head, and I immediately “click” that it’s a scam link. 😮‍💨

Fortunately, APK files are not compatible with iOS/iPhone, and the attempt to hacked into my phone failed. 😭🤲🏻
