The most gorgeous place in the north east

Ithaca, NY has to be one of the cutest little towns. I went to high school here and recently traveled back to the area to show my boyfriend my favorite places. Here’s where we went:

🏞️Buttermilk Falls - my favorite trail to date. We walked along the gorge trail, which literally follows a waterfall from an upper hill to bottom. When I was in high school, my friends and I would swim in the trail, but it was a little cold so we weren’t prepared for that.

🏞️ Ithaca Falls - this is such a pretty sight to see. When I first moved to Ithaca I lived a block away from this waterfall and would pass it every day on the walk to school so I’m pretty used to it, but he really loved seeing it.

🏙️Ithaca Commons - a really cute downtown area. We went during Ithaca fest, which is a fair with multiple vendors that happens once a year. We didn’t get anything but each other the vendors stands were so unique and had very cute little homemade things to look at and try.

🥐 Dolce Delight - This is the first place I ever worked. This family owned café has breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, salads, smoothies, milkshakes, baked goods, coffee, locally sourced items, and more. I may be biased in saying this, but I think it’s the best food place in town.

🌳Cornell Arboretum- such a pretty place to watch the sunset. The area is huge with lots of trails. It’s beautiful in the summer, but I think it looks prettiest in the fall.

🏞️East Shore - the best place to watch the sunset. This small park sits right on the shore of Cayuga lake. It’s a great place to go swimming (when it’s warm enough) or to sit and eat on the rocks, which is what we did.

There were many other places that we went and drove through, nonetheless it was so nice to visit Ithaca again.
