SIMPLE EDITORIAL EYE LOOK TUTORIAL

Good day, ladies! Today I'm going to create a strong, red eye look that would be considered SUPER extra natural yet glam if we could even call it that. CNY will soon be here, so if you want to wear this fiery ensemble to a special CNY event, go ahead!

For this look, I was inspired by a runway model, hence the name "RED PETALS Editorial eye look." In order to set the lids and bring out the color, I will first prime or base my eyes with a light-colored concealer or eye primer.

Second, use a smooth blending motion with a blending brush to move the red hue from the matte side of the palette to the front corner of the eyelids. Please remember to avoid any techniques that could result in color blocking.

After completing the red color and achieving that lovely soft blended effect, you can add a light orange-red hue to clean up the block color, making it even softer, and definitely create a soft gradient from the front to the back half. Now that concealer can be applied lightly with a flat brush, you can finally make it tight or shape it nicely like a flower petal.

The lash option is last but not least. Although wearing mascara or artificial lashes is optional, I advise using soft minx lashes for this occasion because they can provide a delicate glam impression.
