📌I’ve always love Chee Cheong fun but very much reluctant to make some. 😅 The process is quite a hassle and I would rather buy than making it.
📌 Until I discover a simple and smart hack using the rice paper sheets. Let’s make this Prawn and Rice Paper Chee Cheong Fun recipe in just 10 minutes. Let’s start:
📌 Ingredients:
🔹 Rice paper sheets
🔹 Water
🔹 Prawn
🔹 Salt and pepper
🔹 Soy sauce
🔹 Sesame oil
🔹 Brown sugar
🔹 Grated garlic
🔹 Grated ginger
📌 Steps:
🔹Peel and deveined your prawns.
🔹 Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
🔹 Oil a plate; to be used as your wrapping station.
🔹 Soak your rice paper in a warm water until soft and quickly place it on the oiled surface. Use two sheets of rice papers for one roll.
🔹Place 3 prawn in the middle, roll and fold the ends.
🔹 Make few rolls and steam it.
🔹 Meanwhile, prepare your sauce.
🔹 Grate a garlic and a thumb sized ginger.
🔹 In a bowl, bring in soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, salt, pepper, grated garlic and grated ginger.
🔹 Mix well and set aside.
🔹 Once your prawn chee cheong fun rolls are ready, plate them and drizzle some of the sauce you’ve prepared earlier.
🔹 You can cut the rolls to 3 smaller pieces or just enjoy them as they are. ENJOY!!
