Cooking for beginners: Step by step Beef carbonara

🔹 If you’re a beginner in cooking, one of dish I would personally recommend would be the authentic beef carbonara.

🔹 Authentic carbonara itself is the simplest dish anyone should learn. For this version, I used beef strips instead of beef bacon. Let’s start:

🔹Ingredients:

📌 Beef cut into strips

📌 Corn starch

📌 Cooking oil

📌 Salt, pepper and dried parsley

📌 Reserved pasta water

📌 Pamesan cheese

📌 Egg yolk

🔹 Steps:

📌 Tenderise your beef with corn starch and set aside

📌 Meanwhile, boil your pasta and reserve some pasta water

📌 Season your beef with salt and pepper

📌 In a hot pan, add some cooking oil and pan fry the beef

📌 Cooked on both sides and set aside

📌 Mix egg yolk and parmesan cheese until smooth and thick

📌 Add the mixture in your warm pasta n add some reserve pasta water. Mix until it becomes creamy and coats your pasta well.

📌 Season with salt, pepper and dried parsley

📌You can add more egg yolk and Parmesan cheese depending on your serving potion

📌 Bring back the beef strips and serve warm

🚫 Do not pour the egg yolk and Parmesan mixture in a bowl of HOT spaghetti. You might end up cooking an egg instead getting a creamy and thick carbonara sauce 😅
