READ this BEFORE BUYING your AIRPODS MAX 😱

If you’re considering purchasing the AirPods Max, i urge you to read this before pulling the trigger 🙏🏻

I have been using the AirPods Max for almost 2 years now and have had a fair share of experience with other headphones/earphones for example the SONY XM4’s and this is why i DO NOT RECOMMEND the AirPods Max by Apple.

Don’t get the wrong idea … Apple products are great, i’m an Apple supporter myself … however, for this particular product … there were a lot of issues that i had with it.

❌ WHY I DO NOT RECOMMEND❌

1.) Weight (It’s HEAVYYYYY 🏋🏻)

- These headphones comprise of stainless steel … which is patently heavy … the weight is bearable at first, however overtime it can put a-lot of strain on your neck to the point where it hurts (in my case). Usually after 1hr of wearing them, my neck starts to ache … walking/working out with them on is a whole-notha ball game 💀

2.) It gets WARM 🥵☀️

- Singapore is already hot & humid enough … with these headphones on it feels like you’re in the desert. The ear cushions on these headphones are so comfortable as they are made of Apple’s engineered memory foam. The downside of that means the cushions are THICK which inherently traps heat (most of the time i found myself sweating into the cushions)

3.) Sound quality on par with Airpods Pro

- As an avid music listener … sound quality and noise cancellation is a huge factor I take into consideration when looking for a suitable headphone/earphone. No doubt at all, the noise cancellation on these headphones are the best in the market right now (Personal opinion). Surprisingly the sound quality was contrasting … I felt that it was no different than the quality that of a pair of AirPods Pro’s …

4.) Expensive 💰💸

- Can be purchased for around $700-$800 SGD, more than double the price of a AirPod Pro …

I’d say although the AirPods Max has so many good qualities, to name a few … lasting battery life/noise cancellation/build quality. The disadvantages outweigh the benefits … personally i would pick the AirPod’s Pro over these headphones any day.
