π Banh Mi Chao
A warm dish with fried egg, sausage, pate, meat served in a frying pan. This is where you can get creative with every bite because you decide which topping goes on your baguette π₯π€
π Banh Cuon
Banh Cuon is a sheet of fermented rice batter filled with a mixture of cooked seasoned ground pork, minced wood ear mushroom, and minced shallots. Love how thin the rice sheet is as itβs 90% filling 10% βskinβ so you really get your moneyβs worth π€£
π Chuoi Nep Nuong
Apparently, a Vietnamese told me this unique dessert is quite rare in the city because itβs usually made around Mekong River area. Itβs grilled banana wrapped in sweet rice and served with coconut milk and a pinch of salt for that balance π I love how the different textures and flavor are all packed into one bite. π€€π€€
π Banh Khot
This is a mini savoury pancakes thatβs light and slightly crispy on the skin. We were told to wrap it in different leaves and wow, it was such an interesting experience to have it that way. Each leaf tasted different with the banh khot so it was like eating something different every time.
