The high-5 banking method can be utilized best as a work in progress. You can work your way up to five accounts, starting first with the two checking accounts — one for your bills and one for your lifestyle — and a savings account to act as your emergency fund. Then when you get comfortable with that I would grow to 2 checking & 3 savings. Your savings accounts should always be a high-yield savings account and your checking accounts should be at a credit union (if you can help it).
