Thelma Todd

Born on July 29, 1906 in Lawrence MA. Thelma Todd was an American actress and business woman. She actually trained to be a school teacher and considered those has a “side hustle”. Which later became her main hustle. She had two popular nicknames “Hot Toddy” and “The Ice Cream Blonde”. She has been shown in 120 films and shorts throughout 1926 and 1935. She usually played a comedic type of role. In 1925 she won Miss Massachusetts. After this win she made a deal with paramount pictures which launched her career full time. She was very popular in the party scene but always remained true to herself and would shut down in advances from producers. She would have an early passing on December 16, 1935 at age 29. Due to accidental death from carbon monoxide poisoning. Most believe it was actually a murder. Which caused many speculation and theories. #Lemon8 #lemon
