Our Dining Room Glow Up ✨

When we moved into our first home this past January, we also had a one week old baby… to say I was preoccupied from getting the house put together is an understatement. It took all of my energy just to unpack the boxes in our garage.

Slowly I was able to get back to my passion of home decorating and was able to put some more time and attention into our dining room. At our previous rental the dining room was not a focal point at our house but at our new home it is front and center - right in the middle of our living area so I knew I wanted to be able to make some updates.

We saved up for a nicer table and chairs (our previous ones we got for free and just DIY’d refinishing them), added curtain rods and curtains, tabletop decor and some plants to bring in some life to the space!

I still have big plans for adding a buffet and some floating shelves, but I am so happy with the progress we have made so far!
