My hurricane experience 🌀

Hurricane Ian was no joke! After the storm left Florida it made a quick route change and headed straight to South Carolina (where we were). The day before the storm hit, the winds we’re wild! Chairs were thrown off balconies and people outside were being pushed across the parking lot. The power went off the day of the storm and didn’t turn back on. The water park closed for obvious reasons and the hotel felt eerie. Also, the fire alarms went off twice during the night so that was fun 😅. With all that being said, as scary as it was I’m so thankful it wasn’t any worse. My family and I remained safe and that’s really all that matters. I know other people experienced far worse and weren’t as lucky 💔. With hurricane season coming up, please be careful and watch for those weather warnings.
