Highly raved SG cafes - SYIP and Hey Slow Joe

Heyya guys! Back with another post featuring cafes in SG! 😚

Syip (Luzerne)

- Syip has always been my favourite cafe in Singapore!! Their dishes always never disappoint & their coffee always hit the spot!!! 🤤🤤

Dishes ordered:

1. The Breakfast Tart ($21) - 9/10 A MUST ORDER!! Love how the tart goes so well with the egg & mushroom within! The sauce is also slightly tangy so it balances the entire dish sooo well!

2. Ikura Kombu Capellini ($19) - 7/10 Tasted like pasta from any other places. Still tasted good but just felt like it was more of a basic dish as compared to other dishes they served! Still a good paste dish overall~

3. Mini Lobster Egg Sando ($14) - 7.5/10 Lobster was generous and the egg went super well with the lobster as well! Personally, nothing to wow about the dish but still good for sharing!

4. Syip white coffee ($7) - 9/10 Honestly my favourite white coffee ever!! The cream ontop 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 sooo good and it blends with the coffee soo well giving it a creamier taste yet not too overwhelming 😋 pls do give it a shot if you are a latte kinda person!

Hey Slow Joe

- Our first time visiting this cafe and it was tucked at a small corner! The shop itself was really small and cozy just enough for just a couple groups of people~ Decided to visit this cafe as it was nearby Syip & highly rated on Google Maps (4.7/5!)

- We ordered the lemon tart & chocolate earl grey tart (which was I think $9 each) as well as their signature coffee, Cuppa Joe ($8, +$1 for iced). The tarts were really good!! Would say that the portion is pretty good for sharing with your friends/family!

- We opted for dine in so they prepared our coffee in their own cup! As you can see from the picture, the coffee cup was hugeee and would say it’s pretty good value for money for such a big cup! Would say that I prefer syip’s coffee but the coffee taste on this is so much stronger and richer! So true coffee lovers would probably love this!

Both cafes are definitely worth a visit and would definitely be back again! 😙😙
