Royal Icing Sand Dollar Cookies

Another royal icing attempt! I’m so happy with how cute these turned out.

I wish I had flooded the main shape right after the outline so there’d be less of a visible outline in the base layer. But other than that, I’m really happy with how these turned out.

I think I’m getting the hang of mixing and piping the icing. It’s only my third batch but I feel like I have a much better understanding of the process.
