5 Wedding Traditions I’m Skipping

The Garter/Bouquet Toss - This tradition is a little awkward to me, so we’re skipping.

Real Flowers - I’ve decided to go with Sola wood flowers and I think they’ll be a perfect fit. I’m going to be able to buy more flowers than I originally planned and I can keep my bouquet forever.

A Home Goods Registry - My fiancé and I have been living together for a while so we’re going with a cash fund for our honeymoon.

Not seeing each other before the ceremony - We’re planning on doing a first look and we love the idea of getting a private moment together before the ceremony.

Wedding Rings - We already bucked this tradition with matching engagement rings, so we’ve decided to keep the same rings for our wedding and perhaps get them engraved.
