𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐎 offers a wide variety raw and authentic Japanese food, specializing in yakitori. Tucked away in the lower ground level of Ayana Midplaza, this yakitori spot was considered a hidden gem by locals, though it has become quite popular over the recent years.
Kawa Kushiyaki (18K/pcs) - 4/5 ⭐️
Chicken skin. Crunchy but definitely could’ve used less time on the grill. Too charred, some tasted bitter.
Tsukune Kushiyaki (21K/pcs) - 3/5 ⭐️
Ground Chicken. Usually prefer my Tsukunes made of just chicken meat. Not a fan of cartilage so this wasn’t to my personal liking.
Buta Bara Kushiyaki (43K/pcs) - 4.5/5 ⭐️
Pork belly. Loved this! Crunchy & juicy.
Negima Kushiyaki (21K/pcs) - 4/5 ⭐️
Grilled chicken & scallions. Meat wasn’t dry,
Buta Kimchi Kushiyaki (30K/pcs) - 5/5 ⭐️
Pork belly & kimchi. Favorite of the bunch. Juicy, tender pork belly & fresh, slightly crunchy kimchi tastes so good together!
Gomoku Kamameshi (105K) - 4.5/5 ⭐️
Salmon, prawns, chicken, scallops & edamame. So good especially once the bottom & sides of the rice has turned crispy!
Sake Kinoko Kamameshi (105K) - 4/5 ⭐️
Salmon & mushrooms. Similar to the Gomoku but more earthy & umami.
𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭 - 4.3/5 ⭐️
Frequently visit Kado and honestly their food is pretty inconsistent. Came on a good day but there have definitely been days where the food was cooked very differently. Also note that most of their Yakitori & Kamameshi’s pretty much come unseasoned, so do use the seasoning provided to adjust the taste to your liking.
