REVIEWING: NONNA BONA

𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐀 - yet another Italian restaurant in town, one group with the ever famous Oma Elly!

Striploin (1.950K / kg) - 3.5/5 ⭐️

Great crust and pretty tender, despite it arriving to the table medium well even after asking for medium rare. Way too smoky. Liked the gorgonzola sauce though, strong enough to mask the smoky flavor from the meat.

Caccio Pepe Tartufo Pizza (215K) - 3.5/5⭐️

Parmigiano reggiano, honey and summer truffles. Pizza dough was decent, would’ve liked it chewier. Cheese : honey ratio was a tad bit off, but extra honey is available to order!

Carbonara (170K)- 3/5 ⭐️

Not sure why mine came sitting on a pool of olive oil? Tad too cheesy and rich, way too saucy. Liked the pancetta.

Tiramisu (85K) - 4.5/5 ⭐️

Oma Elly’s signature tiramisu really doesn’t disappoint! Everything was so well balanced and light. Definitely ranks up there compared to other tiramisus I’ve tried here.

Will be coming back to try their other menus, but based on what was ordered, not impressed.
