Pumpkin Poke Cake

This will be the CAKE OF THE SEASON!! I got all of my ingredients to make this easy Duncan Hines poke cake! This cake satisfies that craving with a deliciously sweet fix with minimal effort.

For the cake, it couldn’t be easier. Mix together 1 box of Duncan Hines yellow cake mix, 1 cup pumpkin puree, 3 large eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice, & 1 tsp cinnamon.

Mix and bake according to box instructions.

After baking, make your pumpkin sauce. Combine 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk, ½ cup canned pumpkin puree, & 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice.

Allow the cake to cool, then poke holes in the cake. Pour half of the pumpkin sauce on top. Try to fill every hole!

I like to whip my icing. In a stand mixer, combine Duncan Hines vanilla frosting with 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Beat on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. Spread on top of your cake. Top with cinnamon.

Slice & enjoy!
