Keep Your Lip Cream On, No Matter What

Hi girls! You got the perfect lips in the morning, but by noon the colour is off your lip? Story of our lives too, and of course a touch-up every two hours is realistically impossible. But I figured out 5 easy-peasy hacks to make our lip products stay on longer! 🤭

Here’s the simple steps that you can follow :

1. Exfoliate with lip scrub

The key to smooth application is to start with a good base. Exfoliating helps to ensure that lipstick glides on easily and looks good. Using a sugar lip scrub creates both a hydrated and smooth surface for any lipstick to adhere. The gentle scrub will buff away roughness and leave lips soft which helps avoid post-lipstick dryness.

2)Moisturize with lip balm

Avoid chapped cracked lerips. It’s important to help them out every so often by keeping them hydrated and moist with lip balm. Lips can easily become intensely chapped and can even crack and bleed if you ignore or avoid applying any hydration to them. Apply lip balm or petroleum jelly and leave it on for a while before applying lipstick.

3)Apply lip cream

Creamy lipsticks have intense pigments that offer full coverage. They are also hydrating and give your lips a plump look. I usually apply nude color and apply it evenly all over my lips.

4)Use a loose/translucent powder

This trick is only necessary when you really need lipstick to last hours and hours without touch-ups or having to worry. Using a translucent powder, gently swipe a very thin dusting over the applied red lip. Just as it sets your face makeup, it'll make sure your lipstick will stay for good.

5)Darker shade for ombre lips

After you’ve done blotting and applying powder on your lip cream, apply a toppper lip product that is darker for ombre effect that looks like Korean lips. You can apply it in the middle of the lips and tap it with just your finger.
