Hey there! 🌍 Just spilled the tea on my solo adventure in Hanoi, January 2024! ☕️ Save this post for your future reference and solo-travel goals. Let's dive in!

If you ask me why Hanoi 🤔 Because for me it's not just a city; you will see a lot of motorcycles, frenchy buildings, aromatic coffees, and blooming flowers!

When i first decided to go here, what I have in mind is that it is a city where every corner has a story to tell.

Hotel Hot Picks:

Book a hotel in the Old Quarter where you can literally walk to interesting places within 1km. I stayed at a 3 star hotel, Hanoi Graceful Hotel, but if luxury is your jam, check out Peridot Gallery Classic Hotel! 🏨 Can't help but plan my next stay there.

Bai Da Vuon Hoa Song Hong: Found this gem on Google Maps - a floral wonderland for that Instagram magic. 📸 Hydrangeas, Ao Dai rentals, and studio-like backdrops. Entry fee: 70k VND (around RM14/pax).

Mira Florist: More than just blooms; it's a cafe too! 🌸 Two visits in four days - their blueberry yogurt is a must. Friendly staff even tossed in a pink carnation for me probably because i was dining alone pfft..

Beverage Price: (++RM10)

Hoan Kiem Lake: A nighttime stroll by a blocked-off road, families soaking in the ambiance - heartwarming views! 🌃

C.O.C Legacy Specialty Coffee: Egg coffee dreams came true in a hidden cafe. Vibes, history lessons, and a free keychain! ☕️

Liu Lo Art & Craft: If art is your vibe, this is your spot. Bracelet shopping for the personal collection and postcards for future self-reflection.

MasterTan: Souvenirs galore, but a little on the pricey side. RM25 for coconut chips - worth a try! 🥥

Foods: Hold tight for the next post - it's a foodie's paradise! 🍜

Transportation:

Above 1 km I used Grab apps, yes its conveniently available in Hanoi so dont worry. i even use the bike grab as its much cheaper traveling alone.

Notes: Don't miss out on Bancong Cafe, Tranquil Books & Coffee, St Joseph Cathedral, and Train Street. They're on every traveler's hit list! 📍
