The cutest little mini cakes!

These mini layered cakes are THE CUTEST alternative to the classic cupcake we all know and love. They are so whimsical and there is so much creative freedom when decorating them! Generally, you can use any cake and frosting recipe you want, so I'm going to share my tips to successfully executing the assembly portion of the process!

1. Bake your cake in a sheet pan

2. Freeze the cake in the sheet pan once cake has cooled

3. Use a sharp biscuit cutter to cut the circles

4. Don't use whipped cream! It melts way too quickly and it's structurally stable to support the top cake layer

5. Don't forget to take pictures 😉

That's it! These do require a little extra attention, but I think they're SO worth the effort! ❤️ These never fail the get the best reactions from the people that see them in person!
