My guest room MUST HAVES

I get my love for hospitality from my mom. For as long as I could remember, the house would be cleaned and prepped to utter perfection whenever guests would come into town. Now, I don't claim to have my house in perfect order when guests come into town, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the guest room will be THE MOST inviting room you've ever stayed in.

Here are my "must haves" and tips to prepping your guest room:

1. A "convenience" tray with some necessities and goodies. I like to include their towels, local sweets, brand new loofahs for the shower, lotion, and a bar of soap.

2. Phone chargers. I have 3-in-1 charging stations on either side of the bed, but at minimum, buy a $5 charging cable for each side of the bed!

3. WiFi network and password printed and framed for easy access

4. Tissues

5. A candle & matches
