Mystic Falls 🩸

In my teen years Vampire Diaries was one of my favorite shows~ okay, so it still is one of my favorites.

Back in September my husband asked me where I wanted to go for my 30th birthday. Well, right before that I had just learned that Covington

, GA was only a few hours from us so, naturally I knew this is where we had to go!

Let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

First we stopped by the welcome center to check out all the film props from everything that’s been filmed there! If you go, I definitely recommend not skipping out on it!

That afternoon we headed over to the downtown square. This is where the infamous clock tower and Mystic Grill are located! After a short wait, we got to eat at Mystic grill. It was a little pricey, but we each had a couple drinks, an appetizer, and we both ordered the clock tower burger! All of it was so worth it. We talk about going back all the time just so we can eat there again!

The blood bag in my pictures was filled with wine, but they also have fruit punch ones located in the gift shop below the restaurant. I may have bought like 5 to take home with me. 🤭 I also, bought my own day light ring in the same gift shop! I did all the cheesy stuff. As much as I could anyway. It was a last minute trip so we couldn’t get a spot on any of the tours. Before we headed back to the hotel, we drove around the town to see a few film spots!

The next morning when we were getting ready to leave, we headed back to the square, which was so peaceful early on a Sunday morning. We stopped by Bread & Butter for a quick breakfast and coffee plus some stickers, because I can’t help myself when it comes to stickers! I highly recommend stopping by there. Everything we had was delicious!

I think about this trip all the time and I cannot wait to go back! The only things I would do different is plan ahead better, because I would love to be able to stay at the Lockwood Mansion and go on a tour!
