📄 Plot: Vivian Lau and Dante Russo become engaged after Vivian’s dad threatens Dante’s loved one. Dante resents Vivian and Vivian doesn’t understand why because she is kept in the dark about his dealings with her father. As they have to keep up appearances as a couple in love, the lines between love and hate start to blur. They try to navigate their own feelings while also thinking about the consequences of them being together.

📖 Genre: Dark Romance/Mafia Romance

💭 My Thoughts: i actually really liked this book. i got attached to the characters pretty quickly. i think vivian is a badass and i would love to be her. dante gives off grumpy vibes and i am ALWAYS into that. overall, i would say this is worth the read if you’re into marriage of convenience tropes!! the tension is 🤌🏼
