My April BOTM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the month of April, I chose this thriller from Book of the Month: “The Only Survivors” by Megan Miranda. I just finished it last night and give it 4 out of 5 stars! I really liked the format of this book: the chapters were laid out in present day time but the flashbacks of the accident in the story was peppered throughout the book, each person involved in the accident sharing their own flashback. There was one character that was initially portrayed as a main character, but she really wasn’t in the book at all which was strange. Also the ending was a little confusing, you really had to do a lot of inferring instead of the author stating the end in a black-and-white, literal way. But a good book nonetheless and one I would recommend!

P.S. I chose to get a BOTM selection from the month of May and went with a contemporary fiction: “The Collected Regrets of Clover” by Mikki Beamer. I’m usually a thriller girl, so I’m excited to read a different genre! #bookofthemonth #botm #aprilreadingwrapup #aprilreads
