BOOK REVIEW TIME!

I started this read on Sunday and just finished up the book this morning.

I gave this book a 3/5 stars because it really struggled to grab my attention in the beginning half of the book. I found myself falling asleep while reading which if a book is really grabbing my attention then the adrenaline is flowing and there’s no way I’m falling asleep. The second half of this book definitely grabbed my attention which is where the 3 stars comes from. It took me 3 days to get 50% through the book and just a couple hours to finish the second half.

The love story in the book follows the dangerous bad boy that’s super overprotective and would destroy the world for his girl. The progression of the love story was very YA for me but it had be completely giddy by the end.

Overall plot: I really enjoy the witchy academy setting. The story is really good as long as you have a little more patience than I do. The reader will know what is going on far before the main character does and I found myself just yelling at my book like condom figure it out already!!! By the end of book one my curiosity was peaked. The foreshadowing into the follow on books was great. Definitely had me turning the pages faster and faster the deeper I got into the plot just needing to know what happens next.

At the end of the day I will be starting book two but I am not entirely convinced yet that I will finish the entire 6 book series.
