🃏Understanding the Basics 🃏

There’s a million and one tips and tricks I could throw around, but if I could teach myself tarot all over again, here’s what I’d start focusing on.

✨ Court Cards - These represent different personality types and are the transitional bridge between minor and major arcana. Each suit has:

• Page: Beginners or new energies.

• Knight: Actions and developments.

• Queen: Emotions and wisdom.

• King: Mastery and authority.

✨ Minor Arcana - The “everyday life” cards. There are 4 elements, each linked to a suit:

• Cups (Water): Emotions and relationships.

• Pentacles (Earth): Material concerns and career.

• Wands (Fire): Passion, energy, and creativity.

• Swords (Air): Mentality and challenges.

✨ Numbers in Minor Arcana:

• Each number documents a stage in your journey, from rooting (1) to excess (10).

✨ Major Arcana - These cards carry their own significant meanings and represent major life lessons. Major cards can be especially rewarding to learn in the beginning because of their fixed meanings. Unlike minors, Major carry enough of their own story with their element and numbers mentioned as embedded details.
