Unexpected Benefits From Lip Filler

I got one syringe of lip filler for the first time in June this year. I had a 4 week follow up appointment and after comparing my before and afters, and talking to my injector, I had some super awesome realizations!

The first thing I noticed right away that my injector confirmed, was that my face looked thinner. I did not lose any weight or make any significant lifestyle changes within those four weeks. It is because my lips are more plump and slightly larger, they fill out my face a bit more. This takes away some of the appearance of my chin and lower part of my cheeks. Overall, it makes my face a lot more proportional and I am completely obsessed with it.

Additionally, the filler I got was largely made up of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is super hydrating and because of this, my lips overall were much more hydrated. Without additional water intake or lip balm use, I noticed my lips feel much more hydrated overall which is a super pro.

The last significant side effect was that my lips were more pigmented in color. I love this as well! I love to wear lip balms but it feels nice to have a bit more color to my face without any product.
