my favorite reading apps! 📚🤍📖✨

As someone who works at a library & has really gotten back into reading lately, I thought I’d make a post of my favorite reading apps!

🩵 Libby:

So Libby had become one of my favorite apps as of late! All you need is a library card to sign up and then you input the allotted info and look up any books, audiobooks, magazines, etc! Libby is also compatible with Kindle Paperwhite and I’ve gotten so much use out of mine since discovering this app!

**every library is different and may not have titles or have limited quantity of each title, just like a normal library**

💙 Hoopla:

I do like Hoopla and sometimes if I can’t find a book on Libby or the wait time is super long, I look on Hoopla! The only downside is that Hoopla is not compatible with Kindle Paperwhite, so you can only read on your phone or tablet. Same deal as Libby, you use your library card, but you have to make an account (you don’t on Libby).

🤎 Goodreads:

Goodreads is the best reading tracking app! It does connect with your Amazon account so you can see the progress of your books from your Paperwhite, as well as annotations & highlights! You can create goals, like my yearly goal is 15 books in 2024 (must admit I’m struggling), and you can also friend other fellow readers!
