As a night shift nurse, I need some good fuel to get me through my 12 hour shift. I try to get some variation of whole grains, protein, fruit, and veggies in my work meals. I also make sure I have my hydroflask full of water and usually a body armor for extra hydration and help with milk production :) Here’s my low-effort yet nutritious meal I packed for tonight:
•Deli turkey wrap on a whole grain tortilla with cottage cheese (for taste and extra protein), spinach, tomatoes, black olives, and ground black pepper
•Larabar (my favorite fruit & nut bar 😍)
•Babybel cheese
•Dates
•Blueberry overnight oats (for my breakfast towards the end of my shift; lots of protein)
•Fruit punch Body Armor
