I’d recommend this book to anyone who is a mother and can handle some (or a lot) of trigger warnings relating to mothers WORST fears. Hard to read but also couldn’t put it down.

Catch yourself on Zillow looking for lakehouse properties after this read 🥲 I’ve got a sweet spot for a childhood besties turned lovers turned lost lovers turned redeemed lovers.

Malibu Rising

⭐️Overall rating: 3.5/5:

Taylor Jenkins Reid which is pretty much enough said. Read if you love a story told from multiple generations, if you want to get to know who this Mick Riva character is in all the TJR books, and if you love a Phoenix rising from the ashes sort of story.

Daisy Jones & The Six

⭐️Overall rating: 3/5:

Another Taylor Jenkins Reid so another must read. Find yourself wishing you’d grown up in the 70’s during this. And also have to love a cozy little twist at the end to pull at your heart strings.
