My Sport

This sport is really great for everyone, young and old. I teach a class of 3-6 year olds, and my assistant instructor is in his 50s. My karate family has always been inclusive and diverse. I started when I was 7 and I got my black belt when I was 14. I have made so many lifelong friends (and even met my ex boyfriend here). I love how much karate has helped with my self image and anxiety. It is a great way to stay active all year long.
