I’ve been to Florence three different times and studied abroad in this beautiful city! Here are my recommendations:

- Leone Blu (beautiful rooms, excellent service, great complimentary breakfast)

🏛️🎠🚶🏻What To Do:

- Walk over the Ponte Vecchio

- Tour the Duomo (get tickets in advance)

- Tour the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (get tickets in advance)

- Visit the Boboli Gardens

- Tour the Pitti Palace

- Drinks and appetizers in Piazza Santo Spirito

- Watch the sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo (it’s a hike to get there but definitely worth it! Expect large crowds during sunset/peak tourist season)

- See the David of Michelangelo (get tickets in advance)

- Shop at the Florence Leather Market

- Explore the Palazzo Vecchio

- Visit the Basilica of Santa Croce

- Tour the Uffizi Gallery

- Walk around the Piazza della Repubblica

🍕🍝🍨 Where To Eat:

- Gusta Pizza (pick this up for lunch one day and eat it in a park or square nearby)

- All'antico Vinaio (famous paninis)

- Osteria Santo Spirito
