Launching a Coffee Shop: Finances

On this crazy journey of “Opening a Christian Coffee Shop in 365 Days,” I think the most intimidating thing is figuring out finances!

This week my goal was to start the process and you know what? It’s not as daunting after I got going.

I created a spreadsheet and started adding in everything I could think of and then googled prices.

I made two filters, one for start-up costs and one for on-going costs. (See my walkthrough in the video).

I also learned about loans and unfortunately we probably won’t qualify unless we pay off a lot of our debt and save for a downpayment.

With taking care of a 4 month old, it’s been really difficult getting enough freelance hours (marketing) in in order to make ends meet. 😢
