IM AN AUNTIE AND IM OBSESSED! 😭🩷

So there is motherhood, and then there is what I like to call Auntiehood. 😂 The background wingman to our sibling who is transitioning into parenthood. 😭 I still can’t believe my sister is a mother and I’m sooo in awe everytime I watch them.

Being a first time aunt is like having THE BEST DAY EVER, every single day! 🥲

I didn’t know I would be this obsessed lol and this is coming from someone that has never been a “baby” person.

So let’s talk about the PROS and CONS of AUNTIEHOOD!

PROS

🌸There were days my nephew would not stop crying 🥲 and I didn’t know what to do. Passing him back to his mama was always a relief 😂

🌸 I get to do all the fun stuff with him. Being a new parent can be tiring for my sister and I typically have enough energy to entertain him long enough for her to get a break and long enough before I run out of energy as well

🌸 I get to build a bond I’ve never had before and be an impact on the development of this little person my sister created 🥹

🌸I get to teach him all the knowledge and skills I know.

CONS

⚠️ Will leave you broke. If I ever have extra money best believe he is getting it 😂

⚠️I don’t always have access to my lil bestie 24/7

⚠️I lose sleep watching all our videos and looking at pictures all night. I just love him so much 😭

All in all I think is aunties should share what’s is like being the background wingman! It’s truely the best job ever 🥰
