Found this in my husband’s pants, what is this?

I need your help urgently. So, while I was in the midst of folding my husband's laundry, I stumbled upon this mysterious object tucked away in his pants pocket. I kid you not, I've never seen anything like it before in my life!

Now, call me paranoid, but the fact that my husband hasn't mentioned anything about it has got me a tad bit worried. Like, seriously, what is this thing? And why on earth is it chilling in his pants?
