Funky Japanese Izakaya with hidden entrance 🚪

Introducing my favourite izakaya till date. I absolutely loved the concept and vibe and had an amazing time there. Upon arriving, you’ll notice that the door entrance is really small (you’ll have to bend over to get in 😂) and it’s almost hidden.

📍Location: UE Square Residences (Park Wing)

💃🏼 Vibe: Upon entering, you’ll be greeted with disco music and disco lights, with the mirror ball 🪩 right above their open concept kitchen. Such a vibe! The restaurant is designed with mainly counter seats facing the kitchen so you’ll get to see the chef prepare your food and drinks while enjoying the music and lights. There’s also 1-2 table seats to accommodate larger groups.

🍘 Food: Both food and drinks menu are pretty extensive! I personally enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. Popular and recommended dishes include Tuna and egg yolk sushi roll, Grilled Chicken Meatball and Oden.

💰 Price: $$

Prices as stated in pics, it’s not cheap, but I would consider it affordable for an Izakaya restaurant! Some drinks are surprisingly well priced too.

Overall, fun vibes, delicious food - a 10/10 experience and I’ll highly recommend going there at least once with your date (to impress!) or a friend to catch up. Wouldn’t recommend big groups though since it’s mostly counter seats.
