Aesthetic homeware and gifts store 🌾

I was surprised by how massive the Turtle store at Marina Square was when I walked past it the other day, only to realise after that it was their new flagship store - no wonder. They have a few outlets, but the flagship store over at Marina Square offers the most selection.

They carry a great variety of aesthetic homeware, as well as a gifts and accessories section. The plates and bowls were superrrr cute and aesthetic! I’ve to say you really can find almost everything you need in terms of interior deco and homeware here.

However, I also noticed that many of their items are stuff I can get from Taobao. It almost feels like a physical Taobao store. I shop on Taobao a lot and chanced upon a few items there which I have gotten myself from Taobao. The price difference isn’t huge though - for example, a sauce bottle I got from Taobao costed me about $2ish, and Turtle was selling it at $3.

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of shopping online and on Taobao specifically, or if you’re getting fragile items that might run the risk of being damaged by the time it’s shipped to Singapore, Turtle is still a good alternative to shop for these aesthetic homeware for your home. It’ll be a good place to shop for gifts too 😊

I walked out of the store with a vase that cost $15, price is affordable and definitely not something I’ll purchase from Taobao since it’s fragile!
