personally I have a few to help withstand a long lasting relationship!

1.keep other people out your business! I say this because yeah it’s cool to vent and all but speaking from experience the next person ALWAYS gone remember what your spouse did even if you forget !

2.communication , this is apart of the foundation it self with out communication the relationship is nothing tell your spouse everything so there no room any one else to or there no gray areas in general!

3. don’t go to sleep angry at each other. times are rough and life is too short! And death doesn’t have a date don’t let a petty argument be the last exchange of words between you and your significant other .

4. Represent as a unit , meaning don’t do things to make the other person look bad do as you want done to you !
