DIY Hand-Knitted Throw Blanket

Hey guys! I wanted to show off this cute new throw blanket I’m working on, multi-color with pink, grey, and white.

I used the Lion Brand Yarn - Cover Story - Emery

This skein is all you will need to make your blanket and they typically run about $40. If you are interested in saving some cash, you can almost always get 20-40% off your purchase with a Michaels coupon. These are always available on their website under the ‘Coupon’ section of their menu. This makes it anywhere from $25-$32 depending on what coupon you can get. They also sometimes have this brand at Joann’s, but it’s not as common. You can also find these on Amazon or at Michaels.com for other colors.

As far as a pattern, I typically do 1” loops across the top with 50 loops across to start. Then you will double loop the end to create your first row. I repeat this step going back and forth for about 40-60 rows depending on the length you would like your blanket.
