crochet baby blanket!!

hello lemon8!! it’s been a while since i posted. i fell into a several month long crochet slump and didn’t pick up a hook until last week. i wanted to make this blanket for a new baby boy in the family but i had literally no motivation :/ luckily he didn’t arrive until this month so it’ll be a perfect Christmas gift!!

this was the first blanket i’ve made that wasn’t squares joined together, so i was a little intimidated about working so many stitches back and forth. however!!! this pattern had the perfect amount of stitch diversity so i never got bored or felt like i was in a rut doing the same thing over and over! i used a weight 3 yarn so it’s not heavy at all and will be perfect for a little baby.

let me know what you guys think of this blanket!! i’m super happy with how it turned out and i can’t wait to gift it to him at Christmas!
