my solo day trip to salem🍂

last thursday, my boyfriend had to go into work while i was visiting him in boston, so i decided to take a little solo trip to salem for the day. i almost never go on my own to do activities. i'm not sure if its because i just dont like being alone, or always have someone to do these kinds of things with. but it was actually very nice to be on my own, and do what i wanted.

i started off at the cutest breakfast place, the outdoor seating was rly nice, and the weather was perfect, sunny and 75°. i enjoyed my breakfast and took a stroll down the street with all the little shops i went to salem last october, and i love this little town but, the amount of people that were there was very overwhelming for me, and i found myself not enjoying the trip as much as i couldve. but this time of year was perfect for me.

the queer inclusivity and acceptance of the town was so refreshing, and everyone was so nice and welcoming. my last stop was to the salem witch museum, and it had some really interesting facts that i didnt know about, which really piqued my interest since i'm a history buff. i rly loved my solo day in the witch city, and you should try a solo day in a little town or even your own town! 💌 #lemon8diary #lemon8diarychallenge
