Dear Diary, it’s been an interesting week of observing my feelings as I move through starting a new chapter with my career! I’ve been teaching myself more about the law of detachment, which encourages letting go of attaching to outcomes and enjoying the process.

I’m realizing that detachment isn’t about not caring as much as it’s allowing myself to engage fully in life without fear of loss or getting lost in disappointments. This is also helping me to accept that life is inherently unpredictable! I am moving through this situation with grace, knowing that I can handle whatever comes my way.

I can’t control that I was laid off on Monday, but I’ve been making a huge effort to shift my focus by letting go of my previous company and investing in my happiness and self-care. I know that I am doing my best and the outcome will be what it needs to be!
